Community Development Department

This page provides detail on the Tasman District Council's Community Development Department's areas of responsibility and its Manager.

In Community Development we give people the chance to actively participate in the life of the community by providing facilities such as libraries, parks and reserves, as well as a variety of recreation and cultural services. We also take care of communications, customer services, elections, environmental education and produce annual and long term plans for the district.
