Amalgamation Hearings Scheduled

The Local Government Commission will hold hearings of submissions on the draft reorganisation scheme for the union of Nelson City and Tasman District as follows:

• 28 September 2011- Saxton Pavilion starting 9am;
• 29 September 2011- St John's Hall, Motueka starting 9am;
• 30 September 2011- Saxton Pavilion starting 8.45am.

Hearings will also be held in Takaka on 11 October and in Murchison on 12 October and further details about those hearings will be released shortly.
