Icy Conditions Forecast for District's Roads

Given the cold and wet weather over the last few days, there is a risk of exceptional icy conditions (including black ice) forming around the roading network.  Council’s contractors will be gritting the main routes as a priority, followed by other local roads.  

Extreme caution will be required by road users on all roads.
