Some Roads Remain Closed

Council's contractors have been working to open roads after the recent snow and ice conditions. The following is an update as at 11.15 am, Friday 19 August 2011

• Upper Cobb Valley Road (above powerhouse) - is currently being cleared and will reopen later this afternoon 
• The Maruia Saddle Road is still icy and is passable only by 4WD vehicle.
