Part of Reilly Street to be Closed to Vehicles

The Tasman District Council will install barriers to restrict most vehicles accessing the unsealed section of Reilly Street in Takaka, which has been the site of problems including antisocial behaviour, litter and environmental health issues.

Grandstand Removal to Provide for Future Rebuild and Restoration

Waimea Dam Process Letter Released

The Tasman District Council has released the letter that provides the agreed way forward for the current community consultation on the Waimea Community Dam. Waimea Irrigators Ltd (WIL)and Crown Irrigation Investments Ltd (CIIL) as the co-signatories have agreed to the release.
