Enter the Golden Bay Garden Competiton

Time is running out to enter the Golden Bay Garden Competition. The competition is supported bythe Golden Bay Community Board, Golden Bay Garden Centre and Tasman District Council.

Entries close at 4.30 pm on Tuesday 29 November 2011, with good prizes on offer. In each section first prize wins a $50 voucher from the Golden Bay Garden Centre, second prize is $30 voucher and third prize is $20 voucher. Categories are:

  • Best Vegetable Garden;
  • Best Young Gardener (under 16 yrs);
  • Best Contribution to Street Appearance;
  • Best First-time Entry Vegetable Gardener (each entry receives a $10 gift voucher);
  • Best Outdoor Entertainment Area;
  • Best Environmentally Friendly Garden;
  • Overall Best Garden.

Entry forms are available at the Golden Bay Garden Centre, and at the Council Office in Takaka.
