Notice of Water supply Shutdown High Street and Poole Street Motueka - Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th July 2011 7pm - 7am

Downer Water is contracted to the Tasman District Council for maintaining the water reticulation network in the Tasman District.
Weather permitting we intend turning off the water supply between 7pm and 7am and installing a new 200mm Water Main Special at the intersection of Poole Street and High Street, Motueka. If the weather is inclement we will proceed on the following evening. You may experience fluctuations in water pressure, if so, we advise that you run your taps for a few minutes to clear any air from the system.
We ask for your forbearance during the loss of supply and hope that the inconvenience is minimal.

Weather permitting we intend turning off the water supply between 9am and 5pm to install a new valve assembly, Water main, Ridermain, Fire Hydrant and to disconnect an old valve on the Tadmor Line for Tasman Civil Ltd. A connection is also to be made at 17 Rata Street and the 100mm Water main. If the weather is inclement we will proceed on the following working day.
