Free Buses from Richmond to All Blacks Game

Monday 3 September 2018

If you’re going to the All Blacks game on Saturday 8 September, take the bus and get there early!

On the day there will be extra FREE buses between Richmond, Stoke and Nelson to get you to the All Blacks game and home again.  Leave the car at home, relax and enjoy the pre-match entertainment.

With over 20,000 people coming to the game you won't want to be stuck finding a car park. All NBus services will be FREE from noon until midnight on game day.

Getting there

From 2.30pm through to 5.45pm there will be extra services running every 15 minutes on NBus routes 1 and 2 from Richmond, Stoke and Nelson to the Whakatu Carpark behind the NBus depot in Bridge St. From there it's a short walk to the market in Trafalgar St and to the game.

These free buses will stop at all the usual bus stops on Routes 1 and 2 so just walk to your local bus stop or park close to the bus route.

Getting home

Free buses will be waiting in the Whakatu Carpark behind the NBus depot in Bridge St, leaving every 15 minutes from 10pm until 11.30pm to take you home.

From midnight, the Late Late Bus will be running every 30 minutes after midnight until 3.30am on its usual route to Stoke and Richmond via Tahunanui. A $4 fare will apply to services after midnight.
