Summaries of Decisions Requested

In response to submissions received on Proposed Plan Changes 65 and 66 to the Tasman Resource Management Plan, Council has prepared a summary of decisions requested by submitters.

Printed copies are also available to view at the Richmond office of Council.

Further Submissions

Any person who represents a relevant aspect of the public interest or who has an interest in the proposed Change greater than the general public may make a further submission to the Council in support of or in opposition to the submissions received.

The submission period closes at 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 19 December 2017.  

Forms for making further submissions are also available at the location mentioned above.

Further submissions must be in writing clearly indicating which parts of the original submissions are supported or opposed, with reasons.  Further submissions must state whether or not the submitter wishes to be heard in support of the submission and provide an address for service (preferably email) and/or other contact address.

Please note: In making a further submission to the Council a copy must be sent, within five working days, to the person or persons who made the original submission.

Hearings

After the further submission opportunity has closed, the Council will notify submitters of hearing details.  After the Council has considered the submissions and made its decisions, any submitter who is not satisfied with the decision has the right to appeal to the Environment Court.
