About Motueka River Alexanders Bridge

The Motueka River at Alexanders Bridge is 10 minutes drive southwest (up-river) from Motueka. There is a deep pool and rocks to jump off just upstream of the bridge.

During the peak Christmas-January period this site has between 50 and 80 visitors a day.

The main recreational use is swimming. Kayaking down the lower Motueka River is also common.
