About Roding River Twin Bridges

The Roding River at Twin Bridges is a 20 minute drive south then east from Richmond. Take Ranzau Road off SH6 then Aniseed Valley Road up and over the Barnicoat Range. The Twin Bridges and Busch Reserves are just at the foot of the hill with several swimming holes along the length of the reserves.

This, together with the adjacent Busch Reserve is the most popular swimming hole on the Roding River and the most popular river swimming hole in Tasman District. During the peak Christmas-January period the river has between 500 and 600 visitors a day.

The main recreational use is swimming.
