About Pakawau Beach 

Pakawau Beach is a 15 minute drive northwest of Collingwood.

At the peak Christmas-New Year period the beach has between 50 and 80 visitors a day.

At other times the beach has 20 to 40 visitors a day.

The main recreational use is swimming.
