Rates and Spending for 2017/2018 Confirmed

The Annual Plan for 2017/2018, including an overall rate rise of 0.63% and progress on projects worth $34.5 million in the coming year.

Our Annual Plan once again provides even better value for ratepayers than forecast in our Long Term Plan 2015 – 2025, while still delivering a broad range of infrastructure improvements, community development opportunities, planning for future growth and sustainable management of our natural resources.

The 0.63% overall rates increase follows a 0.97% increase in the 2016/2017 year.

Thank you to those of you who came along to one of our community engagement sessions to learn more about what we have planned and provide feedback on what our future priorities should be.
