Planning Proposals and Summaries
The Plan was first publicly notified on 25 May 1996. Since then there have been many amendments (as variations). Parts I (Introductory) and II (Land) became operative on 1 November 2008, and now a number of changes affect these parts. The following outlines these proposed amendments through their various processes.
Draft Planning Proposals incl Draft Changes
(including Draft Changes or Variations)
From time to time Council releases a range of Draft Planning Proposals for community comment on significant issues. These proposals may, after feedback, become proposed changes or variations, and available for submissions.
Proposed Changes and Variations
Changes and Variations are proposed amendments to the TRMP that have been advertised (notified) for public submissions and have become part of the Plan.
Summaries of Submissions
Summaries of decisions requested by submitters are available for viewing. These provide an opportunity for further submissions in support or opposition to the original submissions.
Decision Compilations
Compilations of Council’s decisions on Plan change or variation submissions are now available for viewing.
Private Plan Change Requests
Private Plan Change Requests are requested amendments to the TRMP that have been advertised (notified) for public submissions but do not have legal effect and do not form part of the TRMP until decisions on submissions are notified.
