Online Submission and Feedback Form

When you complete this form, we'll acknowledge receipt via email.

For more formal consultations, if there is a hearing as part of the process, we'll also contact people who indicate they wish to speak at the hearing by email or text message to advise the confirmed time, date, and venue.

How to Use This Form

  1. Select the consultation round from the drop-down menu.
  2. Complete your personal details. Email is a required field and and mobile phone is encouraged.
  3. Indicate if you wish to speak to your submission at a council hearing. If you wish to speak in te reo Māori or NZ Sign Language, please indicate this in your submission.
  4. Choose a subject using the drop-down menu. You can addtional subjects by clicking the 'add another subject' button. If your desired subject does not appear, use Miscellaneous (Other).
  5. If you wish to add a document to your submission, use the 'Browse File' Button at the bottom of the form. Please note the form will not accept images in the text input box. To include an image, attach it as a separate file.
    Rather than pasting large amounts of text, it is recommended to attach a document.
  6. When you are finished, click the 'Done' button.
  7. You will be sent email confirmation that your submission / feedback has been received, including a copy of text entered into the form. Attachments will not be return emailed.

 

About Submissions

Please note: all submissions, including names and contact details, will be made available to Councillors and the public at Council offices and libraries, and a summary of submissions may also be made publicly available and posted on the Council’s website.

Personal information will also be used for administration relating to the subject matter of the submissions, including notifying submitters of hearings and decisions. All information will be held by the Tasman District Council with submitters having the right to access and correct personal information.

  • Emailed to: info@tasman.govt.nz
  • Or sent using the online form below.

Submissions not using the online form should include your name, address, telephone number, email address, and should state if you wish to speak to the Council in support of your submission. Please also indicate if you wish to speak in te reo Māori or New Zealand Sign Language.

The Council will contact all submitters who wish to be heard by email or text message to advise the confirmed time, date, and venue of the hearing.
