  • carry out this subdivision in 19 stages over 15 years.

Land Use Consent (Application RM120718)

To allow the height of future dwellings on 28 of the proposed allotments in subdivision application RM100948 to exceed the crest of the Identified Ridgeline by up to 4.0 metres (Lots 20, 21, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40, 41 and 44 – 58).

The proposed development is within the Eighty Eight Valley Rural Residential Zone which includes an Identified Ridgeline as defined by the Tasman Resource Management Plan.

The Council has received applications for resource consent as detailed below.  The applications include an assessment of environmental effects.  The applications and supporting information may be examined in the main office of the Tasman District Council (Richmond), the Motueka Office, the Golden Bay Office and the Murchison Office during normal office hours.


Any person may make a submission on the applications in accordance with Section 96 of the Resource Management Act 1991.  The submission must be in the prescribed form (Form 13) and copies of this form are available from Council offices and are available on the Council’s website (
