The Sundial Square Summer Sounds Series is favourable formula for an epically entertaining night - bands, food stalls and fun.

In February, more than 1000 people partied to three of Nelson-Tasman's hottest bands and Funk DJ Ranger Danger.

Master Pilot Soundsystem and the Kurnel MC rapped through a series of tongue-twisting rhymes over DJ Ziggidy beats.

The Peasants took to the stage next. To rapturous applause, the smokefreerockquest champions premiered their new single Letting Go.

Pacha Atma's mission was simple – make the world dance. And they did. Burning world funk rung through the warm summer night air.
