History

Built in 1972, it is the third public hall to be built in this locality in Collingwood, the previous two both having burned down.  As a memorial hall the building has considerable significance to the local community, in addition to its functional uses.

Management

The hall is managed by a local committee that is elected three yearly, who are usually representatives of the groups that use the hall.
