Manager's Certificate
At all times when liquor is available for sale to the public in an on or off licensed premises, a manager who holds a current general manager's certificate must be on duty. The manager is responsible for compliance with the Sale of Liquor Act 1989, the conditions of the licence and the conduct of the premises .
At all times when liquor is available for sale at a Club, a manager must be on duty.
There are two types of Managers Certificates. They are:
- A General Manager's Certificate which authorises the holder to manage any licensed premises.
- A Club Manager's Certificate which authorises the holder to manage only those premises where a Club Licence is in force.
