This page contains information and links about Totaranui, New Zealand.

Totaranui is the northern end of the Abel Tasman National Park coastal track, about an hour’s drive from Takaka on an unsealed road or two hours by boat from Marahau at the other end of the track.

Totaranui Bay has some of the best stands of native bush left in the National Park and its golden beach and clear waters have seen it become a summer holiday favourite for New Zealanders seeking sun and sea. It is so popular that a ballot for summer camping spots is held every July by the Department of Conservation.
