Temporary Traffic Management
Anyone planning to carry out any type of work on a Council road, shoulder, footpath or verge will need to apply for a Traffic Management Plan. This will need to detail amongst other things where, when and what work is planned and must be submitted to the Council before any work starts. For work on State Highways you must apply to the New Zealand Transport Agency.
Traffic Management Plans must be prepared by a qualified Site Traffic Management Supervisor.
