Forestry harvesting starts from 18 May in the Kingsland Forest area in Richmond. Many walking and biking tracks will be closed for everyone’s safety while this work is carried out.

The harvest areas will be done in three phases and will take around four months to complete in total. There may be some overlap between the phases.

Phase One: All walking and biking tracks are closed above the Big Skid, Grassy Saddle and Upper Jimmy Lee Creek.

Phase Two: All walking and biking tracks will be closed above Cell Phone Tower, Grassy Saddle and Vahalla Water Tanks.

Phase Three: All walking and biking tracks will be closed in the Reservoir Creek catchment and above Cell Phone Tower.

Please look out for the signage in place and stay out of the closed areas at all times. Thanks for your patience while we carry out this work as quickly and safely as possible.
