The Council has adopted a new Control of Alcohol in Public Places Bylaw 2018.

The new bylaw comes into force on 17 December 2018, and replaces the previous Control of Liquor in Public Places Bylaw.

The places and times covered by the law remain the same. Changes to the bylaw reflect administrative changes imposed by changes in underlying statutes brought into effect by the alcohol reform legislation of 2012.

The new bylaw is available for inspection in Council offices and libraries and online.
