The Aorere Salisbury Bridge river monitoring site is unique in that it could be called directly to obtain the current water level. Due to required changes in the switching off of the 3G cellular network, we can no longer keep this function operational.
So, it is now no longer possible to call the Aorere at Salisbury Bridge site on 03 524 8469 or 027 509 5862.
However, it still retains the ability to respond to a text message - although the number to text has now changed. If you text "RQ" to 027 1050 1249, it will reply with the current water level.
