Plan Change Details and Documents

The proposed changes to the TRPS aim to update it to include regionally significant issues in the Tasman District.  It proposes to update objectives, polices and methods, where needed.  To give effect to the National Policy Statement on Urban Development and regard to the Future Development Strategy 2022-2052.  The Tasman District has a shortfall of small and attached dwellings, including duplexes, terrace houses, townhouses, and papakāinga.  As New Zealand’s fastest growing region these changes are needed to accommodate and provide for growth in order to meet demand.
