Rainfall

We monitor rainfall using automatic recording sites at a number of locations.

View the Rainfall Report for the last 12 hours for all sites.

Two rainfall graphs are shown for each rain site, one each for the previous seven and 30 days. The date is shown on the bottom axis, and the total rainfall amount for the period is given at the top of the graph. The bars on the graph show the rainfall total over hourly periods for the 7-day graphs, and over daily intervals for the 30-day graphs. The figures on the vertical axis show either mm per hour or mm per day. As with the flow graphs, the scale of the vertical axis is set to the data and will vary from one graph to the next.
